US domestic ferrochrome prices trend down

On February 14, SteelOrbis reported prices for US domestic high-carbon ferrochrome (6-8 percent carbon, 60-65 percent chromium, and maximum 2 percent silicon) continued to trend stable for the third month at $3,085-3,262/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh with a few isolated trades at $3,280/mt.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that prices are presently at $3,040-3,280/mt in-warehouse Pittsburgh. The upper end of the range declined by $18/mt while the bottom of the range has decreased by $45/mt.
