Sideways movement in Turkey’s ship scrap market

Since SteelOrbis’ previous report published on Friday, July 30, prices have remained stable in Turkey’s ship scrap market. Today, August 3, the general price range in Turkey’s ship scrap market is still at $450-470/mt. Market players have informed SteelOrbis that the $15-20/mt price gap in Izmir makes little difference in terms of scrap flow to producers.
