Turkey’s ship scrap prices increase on upper end

Today, March 28, three Izmir-based steel mills have increased their ship scrap procurement quotations by $5/mt, pushing the upper end of the general price range of ship scrap prices by the same rate to $495-645/mt. The lower end is represented by Cebitas and is stable since March 3. 

In Turkey's Izmir region, the ship scrap purchase prices of local steelmakers are as follows:
