On January 19, SteelOrbis reported prices of Indian domestic ferrosilicon (70-75 percent) at INR 105,000/mt ($1,644/mt) ex-Guwahati warehouse, excluding GST of 18 percent.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that buying interest remains regular and active, therefore domestic prices are trending stable at INR 105,000/mt ($1,642/mt) in the ex-warehouse in the Guwahati region. Due to currency fluctuations, prices declined only $2/mt in dollar terms. Prices in the Bhutan region are reportedly at INR 104,000/mt ($1,626/mt) ex-warehouse, a level maintained for the past several weeks.
