Ex-CIS pig iron prices

Demand for ex-CIS pig iron has continued to be characterized by sluggishness over the past week, while ex-CIS pig iron offers to the export markets have declined by $5/mt week on week to $245-250/mt FOB. Among these price offers, pig iron offers from Ukraine to the export markets are at $250/mt FOB, though market sources state that this price level has failed to gain acceptance, with buyers’ firm bids at $245/mt FOB.
