Carbon and stainless scrap prices stable in Taiwanese domestic market

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained stable since last week at NTD 11,800-12,500/mt ($407-431/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market are also unchanged at NTD 47,000-50,000/mt ($1,620-1,724/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle and late February shipments.
