SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are currently quoted at NTD 10,700-11,600/mt ($364-394/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have increased by NTD 500/mt ($17/mt) since last week and are now standing at NTD 32,500-35,500/mt ($1,104-1,207/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for early December and middle of December shipments.
