SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 10,500-11,400/mt ($355-386/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000-2,000/mt ($34-68/mt) since last week and are now standing at NTD 32,000-37,000/mt ($1,089-1,259/mt) ex-yard.
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for middle of November shipments.
