Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 26

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have increased by NTD 300/mt ($10/mt) since last week and are now at NTD 10,900-11,800/mt ($363-393/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis.
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by NTD 1,000/mt ($33/mt) over the same period to NTD 56,000-60,000/mt ($1,868-2,001/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for mid-July shipments.
