Carbon and stainless scrap prices in Taiwanese domestic market - week 42

SteelOrbis has been informed that the prices of HMS I/II carbon scrap in Taiwan have remained unchanged since last week and are still quoted at NTD 10,500-11,400/mt ($357-388/mt) ex-yard on actual weight basis. 
 
In the meantime, stainless steel scrap prices in the Taiwanese domestic market have decreased by by NTD 2,000/mt ($68/mt) since last week and are currently standing at NTD 32,000-35,000/mt ($1,089-1,191/mt) ex-yard.
 
The above prices include five percent VAT and are for end of November shipments.
 
$1 = NTD 29.39
