Today, December 1, rebar spot prices in Turkey have mainly risen by TRY 40-100/mt with minor changes on US dollar basis, amid currency fluctuations. As of today, 12 mm rebar spot prices have settled within the range of TRY 4,920-4,980/mt or $530-537/mt, ex-warehouse depending on the region.
Today, Icdas’s rebar offers have ended the day at TRY 5,000/mt ex-works or $539/mt ex-works on US dollar basis, up by $3/mt compared to early this morning. Most mills in the Marmara region are currently offering rebar at TRY 5,055-5,100/mt ($545-550/mt) ex-works, up by TRY 70/mt in the local currency over yesterday and stable on US dollar basis.
In Karabuk region, Yolbulan A.S. is currently offering rebar at TRY 5,025/mt ($542/mt) ex-works, while Samsun-based Yesilyurt A.S. is currently offering rebar at TRY 5,050/mt ($544/mt) ex-works, as of today.
