Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers have kept their official domestic merchant bar prices unchanged in the local currency amid sluggish demand during Ramadan, with only minor changes on US dollar basis against the backdrop of the ongoing currency fluctuations. In the Iskenderun region, one mill is still offering its equal angles at TRY 21,250/mt ($583/mt) ex-works. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers and cash payment.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in early April or from stocks, depending on the size.
