Turkish merchant bar export prices stable, demand sluggish

Most Turkish merchant bar re-rollers have kept their official equal angle export prices unchanged at $590-610/mt FOB, for late December-January shipment, against the backdrop of sluggish international demand. A few merchant bar re-rollers are still applying aggressive pricing policies and even offering below the abovementioned price range depending on the tonnage and payment terms. The Balkans are still one of the major export destinations.

The SteelOrbis Turkish import billet daily reference price stands at $455-485/mt CFR, also stable week on week.

All prices are on FOB basis and for late December-January shipment.
