Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers have raised their official domestic merchant bar prices by TRY 500-750/mt ($11-18/mt) amid higher import scrap and billet prices and the ongoing currency fluctuations. In the Iskenderun region, one mill has issued its equal angles at TRY 22,000/mt ($601/mt) ex-works today, March 12. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers and cash payment.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in early April or from stocks, depending on the size.
