Rebar prices in the Kuwaiti rebar market have been trending sideways since last week at KWD 190-195/mt ($675-692/mt) ex-works, on theoretical weight basis, while demand has gained some strength.

On the other hand, Turkish rebar offers to the region are currently at $605-6015/mt CFR, indicating a softening of $5/mt over the same period. However, the volume of import offers is expected to increase in March along with improved demand and the market will likely make a recovery.

KWD 1 = $3.55
