Rebar prices move up in Kuwaiti domestic market

Rebar prices in the Kuwaiti rebar market have moved up by KWD 5/mt ($18/mt) since last week to KWD 195-200/mt ($684-702/mt) ex-works, on theoretical weight basis, while the market has remained quiet in terms of trading activity.
 
On the other hand, Turkish rebar offers to the region are ranging at $590-600/mt FOB on theoretical weight basis. Demand for Turkish origin rebar in the region is not that strong and only small volumes of purchases have been concluded.
