In the Kuwaiti rebar market, where efforts to increase production capacities have still continued, producers' offers are standing at KWD 190-195/mt ($675-692/mt) ex-works, on theoretical weight basis, but the prices are expected to decline in the coming period.

On the other hand, Turkish steel mills' rebar offers to the region are at $610-620/mt CFR for March shipment and ex-Turkey rebar deals are expected to be concluded.

In addition, rebar offers from mills in Qatar to Kuwait are at QAR 2,400/mt ($659/mt) CFR on theoretical weight basis.

KWD 1 = $3.55
$1 = QAR 3.64
