In the Bulgarian domestic market, rebar prices have remained unchanged since early last week at BGN 1,040-1,060/mt ($662-669/mt) on actual weight basis for deliveries to customer, inclusive of 20 percent VAT.

In the meantime, Bulgarian producers' local prices for mesh and drawing quality wire rod prices are standing at BGN 1,040-1,060/mt ($669-682/mt) on actual weight basis for deliveries to customer, including VAT.

However, it is heard that transactions may be concluded below these price levels.

Rebar and wire rod demand in Bulgaria has recently slowed down somewhat, due to the rainy weather seen in the country in the past 20 days. However, local buyers are still concluding purchases in line with their needs.
