Prices of wire rod and steel mesh in Oman

SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that 6.5 mm mesh quality wire rod prices in the Omani domestic market stand at $600-605/mt for deliveries to customer. In the meantime, Chinese wire rod offers to Oman are currently standing in the price range of $580-585/mt CFR.
 
On the other hand, steel mesh prices in the local Omani market are at $660/mt ex-works. Market sources state that steel mesh demand in Oman is at good levels, while local demand for wire rod is moderate.
