In separate letters to customers Wednesday, Nucor announced it will increase the price of merchant bar and wide flange beam products by $1.50 cwt. ($30/nt or $33/mt), effective immediately.
However, all confirmed orders as of the close of business on May 3 will be price protected if shipped before June 1, 2016.
