Effective with shipments May 1, 2011, Nucor Bar Mill Group's Raw Materials Surcharge (RMS) applicable to concrete reinforcing bars, merchant bars and structural products will be $293/nt ($14.65 cwt. or $323/mt), reflecting no change from the April 1-applicable surcharge.
The net effect of this move is that transaction pricing for reinforcing bars, merchant bars and structural products will remain unchanged.
