Nucor and Steel Dynamics, Inc. both announced that effective with new orders as of April 16, 2018, the transaction price of merchant bar and structural products will increase by $1.75 cwt. ($35/nt or $39/mt).
New published prices for US domestic merchant bar will be as follows:
