SteelOrbis has learned from market sources that as expected merchant bar mills in the Bulgarian domestic market have reduced their prices by around BGN 20/mt ($13/mt) as compared to early this week. Accordingly, angle prices are now standing at BGN 1,140-1,150/mt ($726-732/mt), while flat bar prices are at BGN 1,190-1,220/mt ($758-777/mt) and channel prices are at BGN 1,150-1,160/mt ($732-739/mt), all on actual weight basis, for deliveries to customer and exclusive of 20 percent VAT. However, the mills' price decreases have not yet affected the general sales prices in the market.
