Over the past week, Turkish merchant bar producers have raised their official domestic merchant bar prices by TRY 300-400/mt ($8-10/mt) in the Iskenderun and Karabuk regions, while keeping their prices unchanged on Turkish lira basis with minor changes on US dollar basis in the rest of the country. One Iskenderun-based mill has issued its equal angle prices at TRY 22,300/mt ($609/mt) ex-works today, March 18. Additional discounts are applicable for serious buyers and cash payment.
Most merchant bar sellers are offering either for deliveries in late April or from stocks, depending on the size.
