India’s domestic billet prices continue uptrend

On August 27, SteelOrbis reported domestic Indian induction grade (secondary grade) billet prices in the Raipur (central east India) up at INR 35,500-36,000/mt ($508-515/mt) ex-works Raipur.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that domestic Indian induction grade (secondary grade) billet prices in the Raipur (central east India) region are now reportedly at INR 36,000-36,500/mt ($513-520/mt) ex-works Raipur. Despite some erosion in the exchange rate of the INR against the dollar, prices increased $5/mt.
