On September 21, SteelOrbis reported domestic Indian induction grade (secondary grade) billet prices in the Raipur (central east India) at INR 35,500-35,800/mt ($491-495/mt) ex-works Raipur.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that offer prices “have been rangebound through the week with a few offers ticking down INR 100/mt but pretty much in the same range as of September 21.” Due to currency fluctuations, the present billet range of INR 35,500-35,800/mt ($489-493/mt) ex-works Raipur decreased prices in dollar terms by $2/mt.
