Billet and rebar prices in Taiwan - week 41

SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have decreased by NTD 700-800/mt ($24-27/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 15,500-16,000/mt ($530-547/mt) ex-works, for mid-October shipments.
 
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved down by NTD 200-600/mt ($7-20/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:

The above prices include five percent VAT, are ex-warehouse and are also for mid-October shipments.
