SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have declined by NTD 600-1,000/mt ($20-34/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 16,000-16,200/mt ($540-547/mt) ex-works, for middle and end of September shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have decreased by NTD 700-800/mt ($24-27/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
