SteelOrbis has been informed that in the local Taiwanese steel market the prices of commercial grade billet of 120 mm x 12 m have increased by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) as compared to last week and are now being quoted at NTD 17,300-17,400/mt ($577-580/mt) ex-works, for middle and late August shipments.
In the meantime, rebar prices in the Taiwanese domestic market, which have moved down by NTD 100/mt ($3/mt) as compared to last week, are now at the following levels:
