Bangladesh domestic rebar prices soften

On August 1, SteelOrbis reported that the past two months had been relatively stable for domestic rebar prices in the Bangladesh market at approximately BDT 59,000-60,000/mt ($699-711/mt) ex-works in the capital of Dhaka.

Sources now inform SteelOrbis that prices have declined and are now reportedly at BDT 58,500-59,200/mt ($693-701/mt) ex-works Dhaka excluding additional regional taxes. The offer price declined $6/mt from the bottom of the previous range and $10/mt from the top of the same range.
