Turkish HRC export prices increase slightly

Two weeks ago, European buyers stepped up their inquiries for Turkish hot rolled coil (HRC), but most of these inquiries failed to result in deals since Turkish buyers’ HRC offers, which were at 415-425/mt FOB were considered to be on the high side. However, European buyers have concluded ex-Turkey HRC deals at $420/mt over the past week in order to meet their immediate needs and so Turkish HRC offers to the export markets have increased by $5/mt on the lower end to $420-425/mt FOB compared to two weeks ago.
