Over the past month, Turkish steel mills’ hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the export markets have remained unchanged at $390-400/mt FOB. According to market sources, despite the sharp increases in Chinese HRC offers and the slight uptrend in ex-CIS HRC prices, Turkish HRC producers have maintained their HRC export offers unchanged in order to gain a competitive price advantage in their target markets.
