Turkish producers' hot rolled coil (HRC) export offers to Europe have registered a steel decline from $590-600/mt FOB to $560-570/mt FOB.

It is thought that after switching their focus to export markets amid weak domestic demand, Turkish mills may have tried to raise their competitiveness in Europe, where local demand is sought to be met by domestic producers.
