Although Turkish buyers have continued their flat steel import purchases this month, it seems difficult for imports volume to reach amounts reported in the past months, as local steel mills' are giving special offers to actual buyers to attract already limited demand. Meanwhile, import offers to Turkey have remained unchanged since last week, though the offers will likely soften in transactions in the coming days.

As SteelOrbis has learned from market sources, Ukrainian mills' hot rolled coil (HRC) offers to the Turkish market are still standing at $555-560/mt CFR, while their cold rolled coil (CRC) offers are between $655-670/mt CFR. In the meantime, Russian mills' HRC offers to Turkey are ranging at $570-585/mt CFR, while their CRC offers are at $680-730/mt CFR. In addition ex-Romania HRC offers to Turkey are at the level of $605-610/mt CFR.
