The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $605/mt, against $600/mt two weeks ago, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the south or southeastern coast of Brazil, with the 1008/SPCC grade as reference.
In October, Brazil imported 3,600mt of CRC, while exported 3,000mt of the product, comparable to 8,300mt and 7,000mt respectively in September.
In the Brazilian domestic market, CRC of the basic commercial grades is currently offered in medium to large volumes by the producers at BRL4,328/mt ($806/mt), against BRL4,259/mt two weeks ago, ex-works, no taxes included.
