The last offer of CRC received from China by Brazilian importers was priced at $530/mt, against $557/mt four weeks ago, CFR conditions for shipments to a port in the South or Southeastern coast of Brazil, with the SAE 1008/SPCC grade as reference.

In April, Brazil imported 5,400 mt of CRC, against 3,200 mt in March, still a small volume reflecting the reduction of the economic activity in the country. China shipped 4,900 mt at $502/mt and South Korea shipped 400 mt at $725/mt, both FOB conditions and different quality grades, while small volumes were shipped by Germany and Taiwan.

Meanwhile, Brazil exported in March 25,800 mt of CRC, chiefly to Europe and South America, of which 25,500 mt by Usiminas at $523/mt FOB, 100 mt by traders at $779/mt FOB and small volumes by ArcelorMittal and by CSN.
