Pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) demand in Turkey has remained slack. Struggling with low profit margins, Turkish PPGI producers have had to revise their offers upward by $20/mt as compared to last week in order to reflect increased feedstock prices in their offers. Meanwhile, PPGI export offers from Turkey have remained almost at the same price levels as in the domestic market due to poor demand.
In the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated PPGI prices have reached $920-940/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
