Prices soften in Turkish PPGI market

Pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) demand in the Turkish domestic market has remained weak, while prices have softened by $10-20/mt as compared to last week. In addition, discounts on list prices of up to $10/mt are still available for real customers.
 
In the meantime, demand has remained low in the export markets, where prices are at the same levels as domestic quotations.   
 
This week in the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices stand at $900-910/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
