This week in the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) prices stood at $920-950/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
PPGI demand both in the Turkish domestic market and in the export markets has remained low, while prices have been stable since last week. Market players in the CIS have not consumed the PPGI stocks which they received early this summer, while China has been giving low priced offers to the Middle East. These factors have negatively impacted demand for ex-Turkey PPGI.
