Turkish PPGI exports still under pressure from China

PPGI prices in the Turkish domestic market have softened by $20/mt on the higher end of the price range amid ongoing weak demand. In addition, discounts on list prices of up to $10/mt are still available for real customers. Just as in the hot dip galvanized (HDG) market, low-priced Chinese export offers have continued to put pressuring Turkey's PPGI exports.
 
This week in the Turkish domestic market, RAL 9002 0.5 mm 100 gr/m² zinc-coated PPGI prices stand at $920-930/mt ex-works, exclusive of 18 percent VAT.
