Portuguese domestic market on sideways trend

Flat steel prices in the local Portuguese market have remained unchanged as compared to last week, while demand has continued to be sluggish.
 
SteelOrbis has learned that in the Portuguese flat steel market the prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) are still standing at €515/mt ($664/mt) ex-works, while hot rolled sheet (HRS) is being offered at €590-600 ($761-774/mt). In addition, ex-Spain HRC offers are at €520/mt ($671/mt) base, while Italian HRC offers to Portugal are standing at €495/mt ($639/mt) base price level and cold rolled coil (CRC) offers from Italy to Portugal are still at €595/mt ($768/mt) base level. All the prices in question are for October output. 
 
On the other hand, local producer Lusosider's October rolling base offers for hot dip galvanized (HDG) coil are still standing at €570/mt ($735/mt) ex-works, while ex-Italy October output HDG offers stand at €560/mt ($722/mt).
