SteelOrbis has learned that in the Portuguese flat steel market the prices of hot rolled coil (HRC) are standing at €515/mt ($659/mt) ex-works, while ex-Spain HRC offers are at €520/mt ($666/mt) base and cold rolled coil (CRC) offers are at €595/mt ($762/mt) base level. Meanwhile, Italian HRC offers to Portugal are standing at €495/mt ($634/mt) base price level. All the prices in question are for October output.
On the other hand, domestic hot dip galvanized (HDG) offers for October production in Portugal are at €595/mt ($762/mt) ex-works, while local producer Lusosider's October rolling HDG base offers stand at €595/mt ($762/mt) ex-works.
