Pakistan’s hot rolled coil (HRC) consumers continue refreshing their inventories. SteelOrbis has been informed of a fresh booking for 10,000 mt ex-China SS400B HRC booking trough a trading company at $505/mt CFR LO. The initial offer prices were mostly announced at $510/mt CFR. However, some market insiders reported of offers achieving $520-525/mt CFR.
According to sources, at least one more booking for 25,000 mt ex-Japan HRC is expected to be done soon, the negotiations are underway.
