On November 1, SteelOrbis reported an uptick in ex-US containerized shredded scrap offers to Pakistan at $330-335/mt CFR Pakistan.

Sources inform SteelOrbis that deals from various destinations, especially ex-EU, are reportedly being concluded at $332-335/mt CFR Port Qasim. Ex-US offers for containerized shredded scrap are presently at $335-340/mt CFR Pakistan. Exporters anticipate a surge in Indian scrap imports, but for now, the market is considered “still dull.”
