Ex-US scrap offers to Pakistan trend down

On January 17, SteelOrbis reported ex-US containerized shredded scrap offers at $375-380/mt CFR Pakistan. Limited trading was reported on market uncertainty. At the time, ex-UK offers for containerized shredded scrap were reported slightly higher at $385/mt CFR Pakistan.

Sources now report the active trading of small tonnages of ex-US containerized shredded scrap at $367-370/mt CFR Pakistan. The recent trades have decreased ex-US containerized shredded scrap offers by $5/mt and are now reportedly at $370-375/mt CFR Pakistan.
