Latest situation in local Turkish steel plate spot market

Over the past two weeks, demand in the Turkish domestic steel plate spot market has remained weak, while local traders' prices have declined by $25/mt over the past month. Buyers are postponing their purchases due to year-end considerations.

SteelOrbis has learned that traders' prices for stock material St37 grade steel plate in Turkey's Gebze and Eregli regions for November deliveries are as follows:
