Over the past two weeks, demand in the local European hot rolled coil (HRC) market has recovered slightly, though it is still at weak levels. With the improvement in trading activity with the end of the summer holidays, European producers’ HRC offers to their domestic market have increased by €10/mt ($11/mt) on the lower end over the past two weeks to €420-450/mt ($470-504/mt) ex-works.
