Latest situation in local European HRC market

Demand in the local European hot rolled coil (HRC) market has recovered slightly during the past week with the end of the summer holidays. Also, with support from the uptrend of HRC prices in the global market, European producers’ HRC offers to their domestic market have increased by €25/mt ($28/mt) on average week on week to €410-450/mt ($460-504/mt) ex-works.
