SteelOrbis has learned that hot rolled plate (HRP) export offers of Indian steelmaker Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) are currently standing at $720/mt FOB for February shipments.
Meanwhile, SteelOrbis has been informed that another major Indian steelmaker Essar Steel has concluded a HRP transaction to Europe at the level of €610/mt ($816/mt) CFR to a European port, for February shipment.
