SteelOrbis has learned that offers given from India to Italy for 0.6 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated hot dip galvanized (HDG) coils are at €670/mt ($918/mt) CFR, while offers for 0.6 mm 100 gr/m² zinc coated standard color pre-painted galvanized iron (PPGI) are at €760/mt ($1,041/mt) CFR, both for October shipments.
However, HDG and PPGI demand in the Italian market is reportedly low, and buyers are focused more on the domestic market rather than on import offers.
